Power Moves

I went over to LP today and talked to one of the guys, Mason. He said that he is not sure how much they want to sell the TV and surround sound for, but I gave him my number and I got his and he said he will get back to me in the next couple of days. I'll keep you guys updated.

More Thoughts for the Snappa League

Just talking with P, we came up with the idea that the leader in sinks every semester should get a golden pint glass, which he plays with in front of him every game, becoming a) something of a marked man but also b) it serves like the Yellow jersey in the Tour De France.

Whoever finishes with most sinks at the end of this semseter (I hear its between Donley and Andy) will have it for the first semester next yr, when the BC Snappa League commences.

Another idea, I think the venues should rotate. Obviously LP will be a proud host (and probably the preeminent spot), but I think playing at the Wade Street house where Ramon, BH, Dishaw, and Ray are living should be looked into, as well as playing in the Mods just to shove it in the face of the System.

At the end of the first semester, the Golden Pint will be passed onto (or kept, depending on what goes down) to the leader of sinks for the first semester.

PINT?

Foosball

Recently I have come to discover the greatness of Foosball. Fast, funk, and good while imbibing brews or toking ELs. One of these tables resides in Southold, and I plan on driving it up to Boston at some point in the semster.

Foozeball will be played at Lane Park. Pint agree?

PS redheadted has gone on record as saying he will make a power move and go to 26 lane park to negotiate for the TV.

Flat Screen and Surround Sound

Fellas,

I know much has gone into preparation for Lane Park, but clearly the first order of business is sending a business entourage to 26 Lane Park bottom apartment and negotiating a price for that amazing flat screen TV and surround sound. I think it is well worth it to buy since we can just sell it to whoever rents from LP next year. It is the most ballin set up on earth. Could somebody take care of this?

VINO

While I was on vacation in "26 Lane Park-esque legendary" Cape May, NJ, I wandered into a store known as "Breezin Up." Now this is the type of store that I normally venture into numerous times, but leave empty handed every time because they quality of their product is just plain shitty. However, this trip the Easter Bunny came early and left me a subtle reminder of a pure necessity at 26 LP.

As I mosied around the store, a certain piece of finely crafted pottery caught my eye. Now its not often that pottery catches the googoo eye so I took a closer look. When I did, I found it to be a giant, Spanish-style jug with the words "VINO" painted across the lip, somewhat akin to this:

I couldn't help but think that the noble cause of 26 LP could only be further advanced if we had a jug, labeled VINO, containing VINO, available at all times for LP residents to "drink from the holy jug." (Not in a religious way of course) So as El-Miz says, we can take VINO "straight to the dome" at any minute of any hour of any day at LP.

Oh, and I just want to remind everyone that live music is better than recored music.

Peace,
GooGoo

Yimmy's

I was just thinking, invites to LP dinners are gonna be huge next year. Of course, most of the meals will be a combination of the LP residents, but I think once or twice a week, comrades should be invited over. These comrades will be expected to bring either a 12 pack of brews, a bottle of vino, or a blunt.

I want to propose that these invites should not be restricted to Boston College students. Any biddie that is being "worked" would be more than welcome. Cool antisystem professors who could share their knowledge would be fantastic. And any great individuals in general should be invited. One person that popped into my mind was the big man himself Jim, from THE DELI. For all the service, goof food, and great atmosphere Jim has given to us, I think we owe him something more than dollar bills. So, I think we should invite him along with his bros Nick and Leo to a dinner next year (sorry Shaky, you're just a little too wierd for LP). We'd sit them down throw back some beers, shots for Leo, and O'Douls for Jim (he stopped drinking a while ago). We'll make a masterful meal, maybe something we could reccomend for Jim's Deli. GooGoo Bolebruch would be in charge of the appetizers and we could all make a side dish or help with the entree.

Marathon Monday is approaching....goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood.
Hopefully, El Miz will be in better shape for Jim

cleaning

I think it would not be a bad idea to get a cleaning lady to come every sunday and clean the place up. It would probably only cost $10 per person per week. Let me know what you boys think.

Live Tunes

There is no substitute for great live music. The experience is much richer than listening to a CD, and it provides listeners with a closeness that can't be achieved on a recording, even a live recording.
Therefore, I think we should make an effort to get some live music at Lane Park. My buddy Natty Connors plays with a friend of his here at BC, and their music is solid. I'm sure he would be down to come play at LP, and I think we could get a decent crowd to support it. If we got a keg of some good beer and set up a mini stage in our massive living room, I think it would make for an awesome night.
Post some additional thoughts...
